a suggestion:

have a spider go out and grab the data once per semester (since it doesn't change) and stick it in a database

that way you could calculate averages by professor and by year and all sorts of other stuff

plus the UI could use a little work

otherwise it's pretty neat

i'd be more than willing to help you guys code any of this btw

This may be a dumb suggestion maybe change the color Scheme.

I feel like Red should be F's -kind of like stop or caution of this teacher. A's should be green. B's and C's are blue and yellow or some other unalarming color.

We have added the Grades Pagelet in the portal. This provides an easier way for you to check your grades. When you log into the portal (mypack.ncsu.edu), just click on the For Students tab and your grades will be at the top/center of the page.

suggestion:

if the category == 0 (like AU, IN, etc), don't make it show up in the chart - it's crowding everything else

^ It pulls data from NCSU's grade distribution pages. So as soon as NCSU posts data, this tool will have updated data.

it was an absolute waste of time - the guy would say things in class and then when test time came - if the book contradicted what he said in class that people took notes on - the book won but he didn't tell anyone that until after the first test when everyone failed

^ Apparently NCSU moved all the grade dist. stuff to the new MyPack Portal, so the Tool can't access them like it used to. Whoever made the tool, can you please fix this? Or does this change make it impossible to fix?
