I don't know if I like Snake Eyes' costume as much in this light.

The visor looks like plastic, and I don't like seeing his mouth.

I do really like Storm Shadow's gear -- though I wish he had some sort of mask.

Yeah what's up with seeing his mouth. The early pics just look like its a mask but this is like the bottom half is just his skin with makeup on it. So before going on covert missions he takes the time to apply a prothetic to the top half of his head and paint the bottom half black?

Storm Shadow looks like he should be going out in his tricked-out purple Skyline to sing Karaoke.

it would be pretty funny if they slipped it in for the older audience. Like if Ripcord was in a kitchen at one point and called out to the rest of the guys, "Anyone else want a porkchop sandwich?" I had that thought...only in this case instead of making the brightly colored spandex costumes of superheros more "believable" they have made realistic military uniforms more "ridiculous".

Oh God. Rather than following the beloved Marvel comics lore, they are going with the Devil's Due concepts. I've only read a handful of DDP issues, but I know that most of these ideas came straight from them.

I'm fairly certain that I'm the biggest GI Joe fan here, and it makes me really sad to say this, but I now believe that this movie is going to suck out loud.

Mediocre alarms going off everywhere...

I told myself I wouldn't see superman after they made him no longer stand for the American Way, and I'm going to apply the same principle here. Who the hell wants to see their childhood heroes turn into a bunch of internationally minded sissies fighting some vaguely reasoned out evil plot to destroy a portion of the world (not the whole world, we'll just leave people with polyester clothes naked and get rid of their cars).

It's just got fail fail fail written all over it. I know a lot of other people said it but I don't get Hollywood these days. I mean, this movie doesn't even sound like it's worth the bandwidth to steal it.

I recall reading somewhere that there were copyright issues with the creators of some characters (Roadblock was specifically mentioned) and so similar characters were created for later iterations of a franchise, it's also why some transformers characters weren't used in later properties.
