Well, if you're actually doing that then kudos to you. Yo-yo dieting is too frequently the "answer" for women. Two things Americans desperately need is basic financial education and basic nutritional education.

You're much better off making a gradual change to healthy eating then you are suddenly going on "the California cauliflower soup diet." You're much more likely to stick with it and it's better for you in both the short and the long run.
