How Brock knew about the termination thing (trying not to spoil anything) wasn't revealed until after the fact. Like, he's listening to the phonograph thing that doesn't mention termination, then he's in his Charger asking it about termination. Seemed weird when I watched it.

i thought he was getting conflicted over having to be a body guard for Dr. Venture and not wanting to dig in that site or otherwise participate in that adventure. he didn't want to make a choice so he decided to quit, which is when the car acted...or at least that's how I thought it was.
