^^
well, I live in Cary, and had to tutor a student who lives very near the library

so I figured I'd go there to get out of the house, and catch up on some work

it wasn't my homework, btw...I'm not in school...it was homework for one of my students

Sucks since autistic kids usually look pretty normal.

^except they all stare at the ground the whole time.

beardawg, why was a blind kid going rafting? that sounds like a really bad situation if he ever fell out.

I don't really see anything wrong with what happened. If I was being an asshole in the library at age 12, I wouldn't have been surprised if someone said something to me. I know for a fact I've had people jump down my throat for being loud in a movie when I was that age and rightfully so. I know, he wasn't a troublemaker, he's autistic, but that wasn't apparent at the time. And, as he said, it's not like he went over to him and told him to shut the fuck up.

You're being ridiculous. It's not like the kid was 5 or 6 years old....he was almost a teenager. That's old enough to know how to act in a library and also old enough that someone else has the right to tell you to be quiet when you're being unreasonable in a library.

autistic or not

the library is no place to go "vroom vroom"

i don't give a fuck if you can't control it, if you can't then don't come.

yeah, but jackleg is a "normal" person and has never done anything wrong. That's the point
