^i agree, i getting tired of "unique" gaming. I want my sports games w/ good control. I want my grand theft autos. I want online play that doesn't require trading 12 digit codes just to connect. If pro evo soccer and this game don't work out, i'm breaking down and buying another system.

I highly recommend having both a 360 and a Wii.

I have my crazy fun Wii stuff to play when friends are over, then my 360 for "hardcore" games that are fun to play alone or go online with.

^^ Right idea. I have a 360, and I intend on getting a Wii in the future.

It's hard to be drunked Wii Tennis/Bowling/Baseball.

But Rock Band, Gears of War, Halo 3, etc., etc. Need the 360.

That said, I have Madden 2007, and I just really dislike it. I'm much more a fan of the college games with the exception of MLB. I can really get into the pro aspects of baseball because I genuinely enjoy MLB way more than NFL. I have no interest in keeping up with franchise player tags and all that stuff.

Why do you have to wait for the return team to audible and change their play when you choose an onside kick? That always pissed me off. That and the LBers jumping 10 feet off the ground to pick off passes over the middle.

Is it just me or does the tackling still look like shit...

I mean, I hate how last year's game had the "lay down tackle." In other words, when you get tackled, they just slowly fall down. I dont know, I just want some damn fierce power tackling for some reason.


They did have a few ways to do big hits but none were really that good

i think its more like OSU likes to be hated. I am completely neutral to the school but I have to admit that OSU fans, more than most any other colleges I can think of in college football, like to bring their bragging and bravado (not talking about you just in general) to every message board or bar etc. So, when you stick your neck out that much, prepare to be called out on the facts is all.

I will also be the first one to admit that OSU has a great football program and great tradition. But you have to admit that their schedule of late has often been very weak. And that if they didnt get obvious poll favoritism because of their tradition coupled with a "safe" schedule that is very nearly perfect for the kind of system the NCAA has setup at the moment, they might not have made a few of the games they have been in the past few years is all.

last year, OSU played nobody. But the years prior to last, and in the coming years, they have 1 HUGE OOC game (Texas, Southern Cal, Miami, Tennessee, VT...).
