I like 96.1 and I'm not ashamed of it
maybe 1/4 of the songs I already have on CD or MP3, but there's just something about hearing it on the radio ... 4/16/2008 5:51:08 PM |

When we have internets in our cars this stuff wont be a problem anymore. You'll have your music library available, as well as stuff like pandora.com. Pandora owns. 4/16/2008 7:05:12 PM |

pretty much
i wonder how that will work out for sirus and xm when the internet is in the car
guess there will always be pay content of some sort 4/16/2008 7:10:06 PM |

If you pay for their service you can access stations via their websites IIRC, so they've got that covered.
Also since its so much cheaper than firing stuff into space or buying a radio station, internet radio would boom like a motherfucker which would be sweet. 4/16/2008 7:13:12 PM |

96 rock is just getting out of hand with the commercials lately, I mean is it normal to have as many ads as music in radio? 4/16/2008 10:46:12 PM |

That station rules. When I was in the Twin Cities I was driving around flipping radio stations and came across one of my favorite songs playing on there. Then they proceeded to play like 5 of my favorite bands in a row, and I discovered a bunch of new stuff as well.4/16/2008 11:02:23 PM |

if you think thats bad, I'm paying for XM and at anytime I can cycle through 3 stations in the same category and all 3 will have a commercial playing. If that was bad enough the same 3 stations will have the same song playing in almost perfect sync.
Fuck free radio and paying for sat radio.

i had to listen to a radio station that was just like 96.1 on my way to miami for about 4 hours
nickelback, staind, seether, hinder press repeat
they would throw in some depressing grunge rock here and there
that shit depressed the hell out of me 4/17/2008 12:15:31 PM |
