I like 96.1 and I'm not ashamed of it

maybe 1/4 of the songs I already have on CD or MP3, but there's just something about hearing it on the radio ...

CDs and Sirius... Buzzsaw, Octane, Hair Nation, and Lithium
I haven't listened to FM radio in like 3 years.

When we have internets in our cars this stuff wont be a problem anymore. You'll have your music library available, as well as stuff like pandora.com. Pandora owns.

If you pay for their service you can access stations via their websites IIRC, so they've got that covered.

Also since its so much cheaper than firing stuff into space or buying a radio station, internet radio would boom like a motherfucker which would be sweet.

96 rock is just getting out of hand with the commercials lately, I mean is it normal to have as many ads as music in radio?

That station rules. When I was in the Twin Cities I was driving around flipping radio stations and came across one of my favorite songs playing on there. Then they proceeded to play like 5 of my favorite bands in a row, and I discovered a bunch of new stuff as well.

if you think thats bad, I'm paying for XM and at anytime I can cycle through 3 stations in the same category and all 3 will have a commercial playing. If that was bad enough the same 3 stations will have the same song playing in almost perfect sync.

Fuck free radio and paying for sat radio.

I want pandora in the car.

nickelback, staind, seether, hinder press repeat
