I'm wondering if mine is going to show up on time since I had to file an amendment (I can't subtract). Basically, I gave them a shitton more money than I need to, they already cashed it, I filed an amendment like "hey, give that back."

so... I've filed... they have extra money from me... do I get my check on time or is it on hold because I've filed an amendment? sigh.

Does anyone know the whole situation of how you can get this or no. I'm almost 21, but my parents didn't claim me as a dependent. I made more than 3K last year, so I should be eligible for it, but I've heard stories that I won't get it.

I better get this or else I'll be pissed. I can always use money to buy things I wouldn't otherwise buy.

I'm with SECU, got 07 as my last 2 digits, and got my shit last Friday.

Only fucked up thing is I didn't get enough. They gave me the $1200 for myself and the misses, but I got fucked on my extra $600 for the boys. Dunno why, but I am going to try and find out. I pay enough fucking taxes already and if other people are getting the child credit, I see no reason why I would not be eligible for it either.
