Yeah, they're not supposed to but the companies don't actually enforce the rule and with how high the fees can be a lot of stores that deal mainly with smaller transactions set a minimum so they're not getting raped up the ass. Those corner stores are between a rock and a hard place.

Yes, but other than that, you're not suppose to.

Even with signatures, you're suppose to ask them to sign it, if it's not signed, and if they refuse to sign it, you're suppose to reject the card. The rules recently changed and this is new, AFAIK.

In general, it's a bad idea to write "See ID" on the back. You don't want the cashier to be looking at your ID.
