No, but the strategy of his campaign from the beginning has been to run on as few issues as possible. They're trying to sell him as the candidate of youth and of change. The fact that he's black doesn't hurt in the Democratic primaries. Being one of the few truly eloquent politicians out there has set him apart as well, no doubt.


However, Barack Obama brand hasn't been one of issues, it has been one of a vague ideal unsullied by specificity. I, for one, think this will have to change in the general election.

If he doesn't like playing hardball right now, he's going to have an interesting time in the Oval Office.

I did read on his website that he did plan on rounding up all the loose nuclear material in the WORLD within 3 years to stop nuclear proliferation. That was a gut buster there. However, I missed the part where he was going to bring back the unicorn.
