stupid fucking hippies who don't even contribute to our own country, let alone the rest of the world. It's not like the rest of the world isn't extremely dependent on the resources we buy from them.
oh, and...

i've faxed this thread to washington
they texted me back and said "looks like tww's figured out what to do about this whole gas situation"
then they asked me if we could "wrap up this whole God existence/non-existence thing" for them 5/3/2008 5:09:06 PM |

star wars geek is picking on me
and suv drivers do pay higher taxes.
they use more gas=more gasoline tax
just plain retarded concept.
the gas situation is caused by snewf and all the dumbass socialist liberals who came before him blocking us from drilling oil or building refineries.
the gas situation is a product of liberal policies plain and simple. 5/3/2008 5:13:37 PM |

^^
I'll handle this one:
1) the problem isn't really about God, it's about the nature of existence
2) this is a problem that we can look into in about 10^9 years

well what they really said was that they wanted to know if he really went by the name "God"
it's cause they next time they change the 5 dollar bill they want to set the type to say "In Jerome We Trust"
i blame the gas problem mostly on Dwight Eisenhower inventing the interstate

The only way the "gas situation" will be solved is when it costs the same or more to run your car off gas as it does for some other technology (solar, hydrogen, batteries, etc.). Until this happens, cars will be powered by oil. Cheap oil.
But by the time that happens, we'll be in trouble. Plastics, fertilizers, and a whole shitload of other stuff will be more expensive. Most folks don't have any idea about all the stuff that is made with petroleum. 5/3/2008 10:37:20 PM |

Yeah, you nailed that one, buddy
The "gas situation" is because America's used to using a huge chunk of the Earth's oil. Now that China and India are modernizing, they're using more and more gas. Demand up = price up.
I've read that solar energy is supposed to be cost-competitive with oil in about 10 years. Hopefully then we can just use the (basically) endless energy that we get every day from the sun.5/3/2008 11:06:22 PM |
