Christ this is such a huge waste of fucking time. What is it, a 1min race? And all the TV time for prep and horseshit. Make the horses run around the track 10-15 times, see who can make it without running them so hard they pass out. That would be far more entertaining and take quite a bit more skill.

yeah ferdinand, a former derby winner was sent to japan as stud horse.... his foals sucked at racing, so they gelded him and tried to turn him into a riding horse, but he was such an asshole and so ill behaved that they slaughtered him for horse steaks
