a co-worker asked me if I was gonna see this. I didnt' know what it was so I asked him "what is it?" And responded, "wtf, how do you not know? It's from the comic books." The conversation ended there.

Comic books? Really? I never read that gay shit

no comic books and shit like that always seem stupid and gay to me.

i did watch a few cartoons, but my dad was the master of the TV, so I saw HBO and national news networks mostly

that doesnt really make sense, this was one of the only even half good comic book movies that have come out recently. if you actually somehow liked the others but didnt like this one id be shocked.

and part of not reading comic books was my hatred of reading and I was always outside doing something. I was always thinking, "why in the hell would I read something when I can watch something or go outside and play" I still hate reading, it's so boring. And I've always preferred to do something active outside, rather than sit inside and read.

well i did both I was outside a ton. But I read a lot too. I love reading, wish I sitll had more time for it (not for comics for regular books)

I did most of my reading before bed, or on car trips, or on days it wasnt really that nice to go outside etc.

That made me laugh. Being too cool for reading is like being too cool for math. The only people I know that don't like to read are very boring and of very low intelligence. Even the stereotypical super-drunks I know like to read. Oh well.

^ so, pretty much 6am to 5pm? Heh, I cant say much. Im on here at work all the damn time.

the movie didn't make $100 million dollar bucks because a couple of comic book nerds went and saw it.

I've always been a reader. It baffled me when people hated books. Then in high school we had to read Wuthering Heights. It was torture trying to get through that thing. And I finally, finally understood why people don't like to read. For them, every book is like Wuthering Heights!!!

Bah. Just get the cliff notes or BS through the bad books. I read Gone with the Win in 6th grade. Holy crap that book took me 3 months. After that, i stopped reading a book if it sucked 100-200 pages in. Just get the notes and read something else during class. At least if they catch you, you will still look studious.

LOL I got caught reading in class alllll the time in middle school. never got in trouble though because reading is EDUCATIONAL

and I know there are plenty of ppl who say "HURRR I NEVER READ A BOOK, JUST USE THE CLIFF NOTES YOOO." But I always read them because you know what? I like reading! Unless the book is Wuthering Heights.

loved the movie, but I agree 100%

first time I heard that in the trailer, I rolled my eyes

I'm glad they at least waited til the credits to play it in the actual movie

"Plus that movie fucking sucked. You kids have EXTREMELY low standards for liking that movie. In fact, anybody that says they liked that movie, I will never, ever listen to ever again...because obviously you sat in a theatre for 2.5 hours with your head up your ass while jerking off on some big titted bitch's breasts, because that's the only way I'd ever imagine sitting in there and saying that movie was flat-out awesome afterwards. You Iron Man idiots can Go. Fuck. Yourselves. You don't know SHIT.

me

1) I'm not particularly fond of superhero franchises (unless its Batman)
2) I don't like movies with heavy advertising tie-ins
3) I'm not usually impressed by special effects heavy summer movies

i can't believe so many people are saying they liked it...i keep thinking it's going to suck donkey balls, but i've heard as many good recommendations as bad (from both superhero/comic book fans and not)

i might catch it in the theaters, then
