I had to look up what madras was on wikipedia and found this:

Maybe people don't like it because those guys were douchebags.5/8/2008 12:38:54 PM |

please to not confuse madras with plaid, they are in fact different.
Plaid can be cool,
madras, not so much. Abercrombie and American Eagle would have you think otherwise though. 5/8/2008 12:39:54 PM |

^^^^^ true, I guess I mean it in the sense that most retail places (and people who don't know the true definition) define madras..as in the patchwork shit of different plaid patterns.

Oh, and madras kicks ass but it took me a while to warm up to it. That being said, I saw a bunch of people wearing madras this weekend . . . yeah, I'm already getting that urge to put my shorts away Although, there was this one old guy rocking full madras pants with a polo and some crazy joakleys.7/9/2008 8:41:36 AM |

i repeat! madras is not a new fad!!! if you put something away when it becomes trendy then you should have put your madras shorts away in like 1942.
anyway, i wasn't sure if i liked madras either but i think i like madras bermuda shorts (another "new" fad). but i don't think can wear bermuda shorts 7/9/2008 8:45:19 AM |
