my love for hamas and people that endorse terrorist groups shouldn't matter. what you -should- be thinking about is how i'm going to raise all your fucking taxes next year and enjoy every minute of it and trying to improve my 37 bowling average.

seriously, i probably would vote for obama, if it wasn't for cocky democrats who rub it in your face that a democrat won. obama supporters remind me of carolina fans when unc is in the ncaa tournament....'hey, pull for unc, they are from nc' then when unc wins, they rub it in your face...wtf???

^ I heard he was just going to repeal the tax cuts on people who make more than $250K, but either way, most people aren't affected by that

Obama is open to raising - indeed, nearly doubling to 28% - the current top capital gains tax rate of 15%, despite evidence that increasing the tax actually brings in less revenue to the treasury. Why? To make things fair.

And yes sirs, that does indeed impact the middle class.

Clinton and Obama cast votes in favor of fiscal budget 2009 in favor of the largest tax hike in US history.

Quote :
"budget proposal would raise taxes on Americans earning as little as $31,850."

I know. Go on a rampant search to figure out how to spin this story to make him look like robin hood.

i think i would rather have someone do away with all the tax loopholes that people with higher incomes often take advantage of than to just raise taxes.

I didn't fuck up, you obviously made an edit after you realized your post exposed how retarded you are

Oh, look at what the new article says

Quote :
"The White House forecasts the deficit for the current year at $410 billion, a near record.

On Capitol Hill, Democrats trumpeted their plan for putting the budget back in surplus while also making investments in infrastructure, education, community development, clean energy and other programs. It also avoids $196 billion worth of Bush-proposed cuts to Medicare and the Medicaid health care program for the poor and disabled.

Democrats in the House and Senate are divided on taxes. The House budget plan assumes elimination of the full roster of Bush tax cuts.

In the Senate, however, Democrats offered an amendment to renew tax cuts including the 10 percent tax bracket on the first $7,825 of income for individuals, the $1,000 per child tax credit, and estate tax relief. But the tax plan offered by Baucus would eat up virtually all the planned surpluses while allowing income tax rates to bounce back to pre-Bush levels, as would taxes on dividends and capital gains on stock and real estate sales.

Under both Democratic plans, tax rates would increase by 3 percentage points for each of the 25 percent, 28 percent and 33 percent brackets. At present, the 25 percent bracket begins at $31,850 for individuals and $63,700 for married couples. The 35 percent bracket on incomes over $349,700 would jump to 39.6 percent.

"

The only record your new source talks about it the record budget deficit

gotta be proud of your party on that one. rob the rich to give to the poor?

more like, rob 75% of the country who has a mediocre income to give to the welfare lines downtown. that would at least be a more honest description

They have proposed nothing about welfare other than decreasing welfare spending. This article says nothing about welfare. You're an idiot.

Reason why Obama will beat Clinton for nomination:

Hillary is shady. By sticking with Bill through the adultery issues, she proved that their marriage is a marriage of convenience. That isn't honest, and we know it. She continues to try to enforce the belief that she is a caring, honest woman, and the media beat the crap out of her for it. Her humor is forced, and she doesn't feel genuine in anything that she does or says. She cannot, by any means, change the public's opinion of her, which right now is percieved as little more than a cold-hearted power-monger.

It doesn't matter that she's more experienced. It doesn't matter if she can show that she won't take any crap for a foreign leader. It doesn't matter that she understands policy and the bureaucracy of Washington more than Obama.

She lost this nomination during her husband's second term. She never had the nomination. She was never going to gain the nomination.

This country doesnt have an income problem, its got a spending problem. People can bitch about the tax cuts all they want, they slashed income taxes for lower earners by close to 50%. Also revenues are the highest in american history.

We need to cut spending. PERIOD. Not drasically increase it with new entitlements. Thats why I cant vote democrat. They seem to believe that they know better ways for your money than you do. And if you actually want to keep YOUR MONEY, that you worked for, then you are just a heartless rich asshole. So fuck em. They prey on ignorance to build thier base. They know the majority of thier followers dont follow politics and vote on emotion.

^DNL, they will do just like the majority of us will do.. pay more in taxes.

too bad Obama doesnt have a chance without Hill being on the ticket...even though it appears mini Hill (Michelle) can't stand Hill, he is doomed if her supporters (or even a fraction) dont vote or vote for McCain....match made in hell......

well, maybe an anti-christ is what america needs as a wake up call to show that jesus can't save us because he doesn't exist, and that the world is coming to an end slowly because of depletion of resources and we just all need to get along in the meanwhile while that shit is going down. ya dig?

Considering McCain actually has a chance of dying in office, and VPs aren't elected, I'd think it'd be FAR more likely that mcCain is working with the antichrist, and he'll pick a VP that is evil, so when he dies, the devil is running America.

It would be the democrat's fault though, because they chose to run a half-white guy when they know America still hates black people.
