Favorite is definitely the mid-song solo in "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd. David Gilmour may not be the fastest or most technically proficient out there, but the man is a master of building a solo.
Runners up: "Black Friday Rule" by Flogging Molly "Free Bird" by Skynyrd "Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)" by Pink Floyd "And Your Bird Can Sing" by The Beatles 5/16/2008 5:26:28 PM |

^^ I'd go with "Carol" due to the pre-bend at the end of the riff. The Stones played that song for years and years, but when Keith was going to be a part of Chuck's anniversary bend, Chuck had to correct Keith's bend position so many times he just said, "Forget it, I'll play it myself." ] 5/16/2008 5:31:58 PM |

Not even joking, awesome song.
[Edited on May 16, 2008 at 5:53 PM. Reason : Go Into The Water is better, but the riff for Awaken is awesome] 5/16/2008 5:52:58 PM |
