my great-great aunt lived to be 111, and she is not black or has black blood in her, straight up meherrin indian, and i can get the obit to prove it. she was born, raised and died in nc.

just got off the phone with my dad, and he said that she had no wrinkles in her face, never wore glasses, had all her teeth when she died, and could knit up until the day she died. it was his grandfather's sister.

i know this might sound crazy, but to me, females that are passionate about a hobby or a physical activity have that get-up-and-go that seems to make them age quite gracefully.

I've got a buddy whose dad and uncle had a contest amongst each other which pretty much summed up to this.. "let's see who can piss off mom the most.."

His dad went to Costa Rica for 2 months, then I think Nicaragua for 2 weeks.

Came back home with a wife.

Haven't yet heard what the uncle "attempted" to do to top that. My buddy's grandmother is apparently as racist as they come.

Ahhh, the stories to tell the grandkids..
