i don't know where it is right now but i will look for it. there was a 2003(?) DOT study that stated alcohol related deaths and accidents had not fallen due to the reduction to the .08 standard instead of a .1, and that the only notable difference was an increase in arrests had taken place. 5/23/2008 4:57:03 PM |

While this is true, I've seen cases tried where the suspect called for a witness, the officer administered the test not 5 minutes later and the judge refused to listen to the lawyers argument regarding the violation of the suspects rights.5/23/2008 5:43:38 PM |
