WTF is the rolly eyes for? Aren't white South Africans actually Caucasians? When they were in Europe, they were Caucasians, but when they moved to Africa, they stopped being Caucasians? Well I didn't say "oriental" did I? Proper term is "Mongoloid".

BTW, so how come "oriental" refers to rugs? The word itself doesn't mean or have anything to do with rugs any more than say, "turkish", or "persian". "Oriental" means "from the East", so yes, you can have Oriental humans, Oriental rugs, or Oriental food. However, the word has taken on negative connotations in the US, so I guess it is best to avoid it.

I would just use "East Asian", "South Asian", etc to refer to the many types of Asians.

I'll stick to my white-people speak. "Asian" means any Asian that isn't Indian. If it is relevant to get more specific than that, I'll reference a region.

"White" could mean American, British, Scandinavian, South African, hell Spanish by some standards. And yet I don't get offended when someone simply pigeonholes me as just a white guy instead of German Scotch Irish.

WhereTF does that come from? Asian means anybody from Asia, not just slant-eyed Asians. So I don't see how you can exclude brown people from Asia.

Asians could be:

- Far-Easterners (or East Asians) (the slant-eyed ones)
- South Asians (the Indians, Pakis, etc)
- Middle Easterners (the Arabs and Jews)

And not just the first one.
