^^

yeah, mostly because the more "innocent" characters were the ones the bad stuff happened to

If this movie were a book, the title would be very appropriate."

Great comedy. I laughed as much as I did in Superbad.

Hilarious. I was holding in bursts of laughter doing the pfffffft thing during Pitt's phone call.

Seriously, it was so bad it reminded me of a Wes Anderson movie.

Which I guess explains why it sucked complete ass but is very highly rated over on imdb.

It was alright. About what I expect. Had some great moments (like Pitt in the closet), but dragged a bit in places to. Can't see how anyone could say it was an awful movie, but it was very mediocre.

Here is my thing. I LOVE the Coen Brothers but I have to say this film just straight up weirded me out. I was so excited to see it (I saw it the day it came out) but I can't say that it was fucking awesome. I can't even say it was fucking great. The awkwardness was just too unbearable. I think it was brilliantly acted and even the surprises in it were amazing but I could not watch it again bc I was just so worn out with all the brilliant acting and surprises. I just need to understand things a little bit more so the story line was just too confusing.

I have to say Brad Pitt is the fucking man. Not just another pretty face. George Clooney played crazy like he was crazy, it was in the eyes. Frances McDormand just unbelievably played narcissism. Any time John Malkovich curses I just want to drop me panties and Tilda Swinton is the best person ever to play a bitch.

I thought the movie itself was mediocre, but the final scene where they sum everything up was great.

Pretty lame, IMO. Laughed 2 or 3 times.

Would have been a lot better if Kurt Vonnegut had written it. Lots of awkwardness, lots of misunderstandings, and everybody ends up dead or depressed in the end.

The last scene with the CIA director was good, though.
