I have had my long haired cat shaved at the Apex PetSmart. At the time, it was the only PetSmart that had a groomer who would shave cats. It cost about 60 bucks.

Eventually, I decided to take that money and purchase a good pair of clippers and do it it myself with similar results. My cat is so much happier with short hair and it really cuts down on the shedding.



And as for dying your pet's hair, I have a friend who has died her doggie's hair with vegetable dye.
