how can you switch phones every 6 months?

it's not a significant amount of money when you have a real job

and the iphone was definetly the exception to what I usually do. usually i'll spend weeks low balling people on craigslist and ebay until i get whatever phone i want for way under market value, use it for a few months then sell it and break nearly even

The beauty of having Sprint is if you threaten them to pull your business they will pretty much always sell you a phone at their 2 year price or lower. I change phones like underwear and always get my money back (more sometimes) when I sell them on craigslist.

I'm thinking about upgrading my phone to something with an MP3 player and some other doo-dads, but I honestly don't think I'd every have any real use for something like a Blackberry. I can't imagine ever using all those functions.

^I really only use the e-mail. so if e-mails are important for your job/whatever, then a bb is def. worth it (especially when you can get many BB's for <$100 dollar bucks right now).

Having email on my phone has really saved me a lot, and allows me to communicate more efficiently/quicker

i dont use half the features on mine.. that doesn't really matter. what does matter is how effective it is as dealing with email and attachments.

my boss still hasn't put email on his phone and constantly while we're walking around in airports or in other states I'll be reading him our email and then we're constantly on the phone handling things that we wouldn't even know about had I not had my blackberry.

and like stated above, when you can get one for < $100 easy and less than $200 without any contract whatsoever there's really just nothing that i know of that beats it overall

Selling phones on craigslist is so nice. 9 times in 10 the person has already broken/lost they old phone and needs on ASAP. They will pay way over ebay prices for them.
