While a lot of it is crap...

TSB actually has some pretty good/advanced debates. They're not often made good by the knowledge of those participating, but as long as we have Google it will make little difference. Believe it or not, arguing actually makes one better at... arguing. And actually, that's a very good skill to have. And, yet again, another surprising fact is that when TWW gets locked on a topic, it's generally more knowledgeably and intelligently discussed than any humanities classes I've had at State.

So maybe...

I'm using the internet in my free time to learn what school was supposed to teach me and never did. And TSB is an occasional part of that.

I would agree with that. There are def. some smart, articulate people who post in here of all opinions and I do like hearing their opinions (even if I really disagree with it).

I miss arguing with Smoker4 and TGD in person. In fact, I wish they'd venture back to the Soap Box and explain their positions on Iraq again...
