Obama looks very christ-like in those pictures. Almost like he has a halo around him, and that he's an angel about to sprout wings.
I wonder if that was his idea or his supporters'? 6/6/2008 2:13:21 PM |

"rather than"?
Ummm, no, not quite. It's a fairly standard "power to the people" message, with him as the prophetic leader of the movement. 6/6/2008 2:26:55 PM |

I don't know why we are even debating this. It's quite obvious that the man is the 2nd coming of Christ.

The top half of Ron Paul's site is great. I'm impressed.
And jeez-- McCain really, really should have gone with the spanish site's design. 6/6/2008 2:59:48 PM |

Wow, Hillary gets the deity treatment as well, from Obama's website.
She looks glorious! Like an angel supporting her golden god.

I like how everybody harps on the link to donate on barak's page like mccain doesn't do the same thing.
not counting the splash page thing....
when I load obama's home page I see the one red link.
when I load mccain's I clearly see the one in the main menu, the one (actually two if you use his retarded scroll thingy) on the left, and the one on the right under contribute.
they are about to get heavy into their campaigns, which if I remember correctly, do cost money.

I'm just saying ones no worse than the other. They both clearly want your money.
barak hits you from the get-go, mccain goes for the saturation strategy. 6/7/2008 8:47:30 PM |

at least it's not so obvious for McCain. At least I don't have to click "ignore my begging" in order to see anything that McCain might have to say 6/7/2008 9:02:02 PM |

it seems as though there's a cookie that remembers you click "leave me alone" and if you visit the homepage again it actually takes you straight there.

Quote : | "June 7, 2008 HillaryClinton.com goes Obama-centric
WASHINGTON (CNN) – In concert with her speech Saturday, the banner image across Hillary Clinton’s Web site flipped to “Support Sen. Obama today.”
The site – which has been a central part of Clinton’s fund-raising efforts and a signature part of her speeches – now asks supporters get behind Sen. Barack Obama and “together we can write the next chapter in America’s story.” The box alongside the email sign-up, however, still solicits contributions to her campaign.
Clinton has suspended her presidential campaign. By suspending instead of dropping out, she technically remains a candidate, entitled to keep statewide pledged delegates and district-level delegates.
A video message on the site, posted four days ago, thanks her supporters, telling them: “I could not have made this part of the journey without you,” but makes no mention of the presidential nominee.
Update: Sen. Obama has returned the favor online. The Obama campaign's Web site has been altered to allow visitors to leave messages of thanks for Sen. Clinton. Click here to see this new feature on the Obama site. " |
