I like better becasue that goddamn helicopter is gone, CTF is back (and they strap the flag to your back so you can shoot while running with the flag), they have WAY better guns, in particular in the semi-automatic dept, and artillery strikes in this version are NUTS, like 5-6 waves of that shit pounding lead down on your ass. I realize this is only small things, but it makes it a little better to me.

I like that the last stand perk now comes with the ability to heal anyone else in last stand. However, I played for about 2 hours yesterday and never had a chance to heal anyone... Once they go into last stand, they generally only last for about 5 more seconds, max. Would be nice to have like 10 seconds to heal ANYONE like in CoD3.

The dogs instead of the helicopter is not my favorite thing... It is way too easy to kill the dogs, but the cool part is that they show you were the enemy is. Last time we played I was camping along the outer edge and was at a dog spawn point, they would jump over the wall into the map and I killed them all easily. I actually heard a few players back in CoD4 say on XBL that it would be cool to have the dogs like in the campaign mode. They must be happy now

Body parts flying off people is pretty sweet.

These maps seem more open and realistic than CoD4 and of course vehicles will allow for much larger areas.

The artillery strikes are just OKAY. It is a much longer lasting attack than the CoD4 airstrike, but too easily avoided.

The molotov cocktail needs a larger splash radius. I do enjoy lighting one and running around the board with it cocked back just to try to barbecue someone before they take me out.

It would be sweet as hell if you could duck/dive into the water.

My general feel is that this game will involve a little more teamwork than CoD4 and that it won't be as easy to go 20-5 in any given game. I really would like to see how the new (or should I say "old") guns play out in Hardcore mode, since that is mostly what I will be playing. Capture the flag should be fun to play as a change of pace.

I figured out how to use the bipod on the machine guns today.. awesomeness. I cannot wait to get a big one. You can prop it up in any window so it becomes mounted.

im getting better...finally called in an airstrike today and was 1 kill away from calling the dogs...i like the board on the demo with the water...also the circular board is pretty cool...i also like the 3rd japanese board but i seem to be the least familiar, although i'm learning good spots on every board...definitely liking this game

got my beta code tonight. I played about 8 games and I'm not really a fan to be honest. I don't know if it's the different guns, or the sucky maps, or the bullshit dogs, or just being a different game from CoD4... but I just didn't like it. after the CoD4 beta, I was so fucking excited for the game to come out and now I'm pretty sure I won't even pick this game up

cod:waw is treyarch, but they're using iw's cod4 engine...also treyarch made cod3 which kind of sucked, but they put it out in like 7 months and usually fps's take about 2 years...once you learn the maps better on this beta you will like it, trust me

played for a bit last night and I was generally impressed with the game. One thing I noticed was the sound seemed a little muted. I found it much harder to hear people walking and running around me.

Guns are a lot of fun albeit harder to use than COD4 and I think mildew is right in saying it will be much harder to dominate a game.

Free for All has way too many people especially on the two smaller maps. The maps overall are excellent and alot of fun.

yeah i found the under the map glitch on roundhouse...it was funny cause i was playing TDM and i went like 7-1 (others were getting 20+ kills) and after the game in the lobby i was like "sorry yall, i saw the map glitch on youtube and wanted to try it for the first time" and some dude gets all holier than thou and starts talking about how i bet i feel proud of myself and how it ruined his entire gaming experience and shit...get real

theres a glitch on the 3rd board to get on the roof of one of the middle houses, i saw someone do it with an RPG to boost them up higher but i havent tried it
