Larosa?


do you train with her? I like to use the open guard because i dont wanna sit still i like to keep my hips moving and look for escapes and sweeps because my subs arent very crisp yet but i get alot of escapes

i use a half butterfly guard usually when my guard is open, i feel more comfortable with one leg around my opponents back at this stage

the problem is at my level i get my guard passed alot so i need to learn when to close my guard just long enough to reestablish control or when im just too freakin tired to explode...or when the opponent is giving me nothing to work with..

i am a bridge and shrimp machine im pretty good at using those techniques to improve position

I was definitely disappointed by Tanner's performance. I expected him to, well, DO more. It was a great fight, I enjoyed it a lot, but I think Tanner could have won that.

Oh, and I think CB got Herb Deaned there. Thoughts?

^^^ Yeah, Larosa, but I don't train with her. (I wish.) I have fought her once before, though. I was 15, moved up into seniors, fought her, and it was kind of over in 30 seconds.

i know for a fact what he did, he went for the "fake tap so the opponent loosens up" bullshit

but unluckily for his ass amir had that armbar deep and herb actually saved his fighting career cuz amir didnt bite the bait

nice try CB, play again and i hope you get Hendo or ricardo almeida for your next fight

^ Oh, yeah, forgot to mention, haha, judo tournament. This was back when Tara was in her PRIME bodybuilding form, so you kind of prayed she won with a throw and it was over in 7 seconds. I was not as lucky and had to suffer through 20 extra seconds of pain courtesy of her elbow in my sternum. I couldn't even TRY to move her.

what was the judge who scored the fight 29-28 for tanner watching? thank goodness the other two judges were actually paying attention and scored the fight in grove's favor.

i was disappointed that CB let himself get caught in another armbar...i would have thought that was something he focused on so as to avoid it in the rematch. i think CB will stick around in the UFC and be a good fighter once he gets his submission defense issues worked out.

I missed the finale but caught the replay this afternoon. CB definitely deserved to lose, I mean Herb did what he was supposed to do, homeboy tapped. Despite that, I honestly feel like Amir won't amount to too much once he starts fighting in the UFC...kid is awesome and has a lot of heart, but I don't know if he'll be able to make a lot of waves. Seems like he won a lot after getting his ass beat and then caught someone in a hold. And yeah, I love Evan Tanner, but it's time for him to hang it up I guess.

im shocked no one is talking about how Diego Sanchez is back. that might have been the best fight of the night for me.

the TUF finale didnt go anywhere like i expected it. i really thought CB would show more and sure enough...he got caught again and did exactly what ZombCraw mentioned. that fake tap shit got him the L. i loled all over the place.

I was very disappointed with Evan Tanner. When he showed up in full neck beard i thought KG was in for a world of hurt...but no, he looked old and out of sync. i think its time for Tanner to hang up the gloves.

I really cant wait for the 7/19 free fight card though

Yeah, definitely the best fight of the night. Luigi was no pushover, but sanchez punished him standing up for 3 rounds. I love diego's aggressive style.
