My expert tiling advice:
1. Don't use that ready-to-use mortar that they sell at Home Depot. That stuff is some junk. Get the stuff that you have to mix with water.

2. Check to see if the tiles need to be "buttered" by laying mortar on the floor, sticking down a tile, and then pulling the tile up to see if mortar is sticking to it. If there is no mortar on the back of the tile you need to butter it.

3. Wear some knee pads.

4. Draw disgusting graffiti on your subfloor before laying the tile.

I love PBR. Michelob Ultra no so much. But its better than Coors Light and then Natty Light.

Absolutely. This is also true for roofing . If you pull up tar paper and don't find something, you know it was done by amateurs.
