im doing fine, thanks for asking the weekend was pretty rough dealing with pain, but it's gone away quite a bit and im starting physical therapy on monday

this weekend we're actually going to sea island, georgia with some friends for a leisurely weekend. i doubt ill be playing any golf with the rest of the guys, but getting away from the city and chilling out by the pool and beach will be a good change for me and will definitely make me feel better!

Yeah, it does suck. Just got finished with mine. It's well worth it in the end though.

Not to be a smartass or anything, but how much PT is needed on a nub?

^ more than you would think. i have about 30 degrees of elbow motion right now, an improvement of no movement at all. have therapy bright and early tomorrow morning at 8am. my therapist's name is amber... more like murder

my target goal is 100 degrees

shit man, they gave me hydrocodone when i had my wisdom teeth taken out. i figured you'd get something stronger. then again, if i were going to have to feel some pain, i *think* i'd rather feel it in my arm than my mouth.

good luck with the therapy.

I hate to even ask, and I know you've probably told before, but how old were you when you first lost your arm?

I bet the physical therapy is terrible. My bf (Lucky1) is doing his own physical therapy for right now and he said it is some of the worst pain ever. He's also had a lot of numbness, but the dr. told him it was because he had to pull the nerve out of the way while he was inserting the plates and screws.

Best wishes, I hope you get 100 degrees soon!

I had my last physical therapy section this morning... my target of 100 degress has been surpassed to 110

they told me i have to do my exercises a couple of times a day every day for the rest of my life if i want to keep that level of mobility though
