the NBA (olympics) NHL (olympics and all-star games sometimes) and MLB (WBC) all have country vs country playing their sport. and theyre pretty much all pro players (maybe some in the WBC werent, i dunno)

exactly my point. America ruined the Olympics with the introduction of the 'dream team'. before that the rules clearly stated that the Olympics were for amateur athletes ONLY.

now name 1 sport other than soccer that has 1 single event BIGGER than the Olympics and on an international level, because i'm sure some dumbass is going to say 'super bowl'?
