Actually, I'm the opposite. If something becomes faddish, I'm likely to stop wearing it until it has positively gone out of fashion. Which isn't any less stupid and insecure than people who buy things simply because they are in fashion really.

This isn't to say I haven't gone out and seen something and decided to buy it. But, since at least middle school, I have never bought something simply because it was popular. Period.
