you can buy a wii points card from the store and put in the code (kinda like a gift card for wii points)

or you go to the wii store on the wii and buy points with your credit card

I bought it about an hour ago. Wasn't any more slow than usual (I have a low signal).

The game is AWESOME and the Wii version has the achievements too. The game is hard as fuck too .

Bought the game about 30 minutes ago and am going through the bosses to find the one weakest to the arm cannon.

So far Concrete Man doesn't seem too immune to it.

Onto Jewel Man I guess. (This should've been the chick robot IMO.)

Just buy it. In most cases I'm fairly indifferent towards pirating, but in this case if it means Capcom sees huge financial success from making new 'retro' games, maybe other companies will do the same.

How awesome would it be if Sega made a Sonic 4 with genesis specs, or Nintendo making another Metroid game with SNES sprites.

I don't think either of those ideas are that great. A high-def, 2D Sonic game could be just as good (or better) than the Genesis classics and a Metroid with SNES sprites could suck ass. I'd prefer an HD, two dimensional, all new adventure instead of redone sprites and levels.

I think HD is overrated, but that's just me. However on that note, Mario 4 (New SMB) turned out extremely well and didn't retain a NES look. Same with Contra 4.

However with Sonic and Metroid they really haven't been the same. I have Sonic Rush and its the best thing in well over a decade, but is still kind of meh. Metroid hasn't really been good since the GBA games (I'm one of the few that didn't like the whole 3-d exploration).



BACK TO MEGAMAN, I just beat galaxy man. If this game is supposed to be number 9 shouldn't it at least have the charging mega buster, I mean 3-6 had it (I know very little about 7 & 8).

^^I think Sonic Rush is great and easily as good as the Genesis games. Loved the Metroid Prime series.

Mega Man 9 was supposed to be based off Mega Man 1 & 2, meaning no sliding or charging the Mega Buster. (BTW you couldn't charge it in Mega Man 3 ). DLC is also on the way.

$8 sounds a little high and the fact they're "nickel and dime"-ing us is pretty lame. Oh well, at least it's optional. I'm an achievements whore so I'm holding out for the 360 version

Just so everybody knows, the game has a save feature (~8 file slots) and the wii version has the achievements too.

Just played for an hour and didn't beat a single stage. Now I remember why I got so frustrated as a kid on the NES.

Started with Tornado man, then concrete man, then jewel man, then hornet man, and then splash woman.

I finally got to the boss on splash woman and she beat me, game over.

this game is hard!

when you die, it'll ask if you want to continue the stage, go the robot selection screen, Save, or quit.
