i haven't been out a lot in Wilmington but i think you just have to find the right places...i've been to a few places that are pretty cool (laid back and all...not like the normal downtown club scene). i hate to say this, but i think my fav bar that i've been to was in fayetteville

You really can't complain about any state that has mountains and a coast line. The weather isn't bad either.

^^and tornadoes are fairly rare, floods are not that common, fires are not that common(at least not like cali), no earthquakes, winters are not that bad, etc etc etc...nc is like perfect almost imo
