also i need to add financially literate to my list. you don't have to be trading stocks and shit but you should be saving for retirement and have a savings account and have your bills under control. a certain amount of debt is acceptable but if its more than $50k you better have a plan to kill it and if its more than $1k in credit card debt, you better have a good reason! and please for the love of god, know how to run and read a credit report. i will show you how but dont act so clueless.

i don't have a lot of these specifics because i'm kind of a hot mess. and i don't mean hot as in wow she's so hot. i mean, i'm a lot to handle so i don't really think most guys are adequately prepared. that is why i leave the door open pretty wide because i don't have myself figured out and i'd hate to exclude someone based on pesky lists. like "pays bills on time" i mean that is good, but that isn't going to keep me from dating someone. if you are an ax murderer, however, i'd probably need to reconsider.

i'm 25 and i have found guys in their early 30 easily meet my criteria and from there out its all subjective

i think once you hit 25, you should be paying bills on time and be off your parents payroll

i DO have my shit together so i expect a boyfriend to have his shit together too

then again, i'm an overachiever and i dont prefer to take care of someone unless they are my child. of course i dont mind doing gf stuff but i'm not picking up where mommy left off, my guy has got to be able to survive on his own without rotting in his filth

obviously i want someone who pays their bills but if you work 3 jobs to put yourself through college and pay like a cable bill late, i'm not going to put like an x on THE list or anything.
