hahaha

now that I think about it, it would be pretty cool if a song played that went along with the cause of my death

for example, if I died by electrocution, I would want the electric slide to be playing

FUCKING EPIC

This is all we have when we die
It's what's left of us when we die
We will be remembered for this

I'd go crazy and die if I could listen to only one song for the rest of my life.
So, I would have to go with "Hot Crossed Buns" and just get it over with as soon as possible.

cddweller, you're killing me. It is LynYrd SkynYrd and Kris Kristofferson.

moving on, I'm surprised no one has said "Knocking on Heaven's Door." Too cliche? Maybe. As for me, Rex's Blues by (big surprise) Townes Van Zandt. I couldn't find the original but here is a decent cover:

....And Justice For All on the same titled Metallica CD.

I loved Metallica....until the black self-titled album came out, and they turned into whiny girls.

If this was my last song, I know that if I was to die, it would not be without a fight.

I'm assuming that listening to one last song ever would mean I was dying, and not going deaf.

If that were the case, I'd rather listen to a woman's orgasm than a song, so that the orgasm was the last sound burned into my brain.

If I had to choose from that album I'd go with Dyer's Eve though, just for the supernatural aspect of it.

Your profile says you're 25 years old

if that's the case, you were born, at the earliest, in 1983.

What does that mean? You were FIVE when "And Justice for All" was released in '88

and EIGHT when "Metaliica" was released in 91.

So don't try to act like you loved them back when you were five, but when you turned 8 and "Unforgiven" came out, you were all pissed that they sold out.

That's just ridiculous, yo.

^^^Mybe I'm not really 25.

There are 4 good Metallica albums: Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, ....And Justice For All, and Kill 'Em All.

The buzz got so heavy that they went and had Bob Rock come in and make them mainstream. The same Bob Rock that was producing Motley Crue, Cher, Bon Jovi, and The Cult's records.

The "black" album is the pentultimate sellout album. For every 3 new fans they got, they lost credibility to a previous fan.
