im looking for something really big to hang over my mantle, looked at stuff today at Target, Linens N Things, Big Lots, Marshalls... all $70-$100... I dont see paying that much for something that I just bought at a department store and isnt "special"
anyone here an artist??? 7/12/2008 8:00:42 PM |

i thought about using a pic i took or something but i doubt the resolution is anywhere near enough to get a big BIG BIG pic out of it
but im kinda stoopid when it comes to those things so i have no idea, i can make them look prettiful on a computer screen but framed and mounted on a wall is a whole diff story 7/12/2008 8:04:18 PM |

a lot of luck on my part. just had to take lots and lot pictures (and play around with the aperture/f-stop settings), and eventually a few really good ones came out 7/12/2008 8:39:09 PM |

which isn't quite my taste, but I won it on a cruise
on a big wooden board thing, and also a pic of Brind'Amour with the cup
if that counts
something kind of like, but not exactly
One of the pieces in this line, but it's just one penguin
but it's not up right now
and a few originals done by my dad or other people we know, and some landscape things I got in Haiti ... that's all I can think of that's actually up. Oh, and a red and white and gold floral thing in our red bathroom.

Holy Sea (2008)
Cast your blade into the sea! Old Time's a force and foaming. Bleed your spirit into me; The mind's a wine a'roaming.
Tongue and key split golden door! Piercing pew and aisle. Scream! O, Soul that cries for war And begs for Peace awhile!
Quench the Sun to sacred cinder Save only ash and stone- That Man may burn to glowing ember Sensed, then felt, then thrown!
Raise the womb and guide below, Then drown the world in melted snow! 7/23/2008 7:26:21 PM |

Most of my stuff is by Kurt Halsey. I've got some prints from places that I've been, original stuff by locals, photographs, etc, but I don't have any saved pictures of them up on the wall.
This is an original sketch that was used on a printed journal. If I had to only keep one of my pieces by him, it'd be this one.
