the first time i saw it was in a theater full of nerds at midnight

there was practically an ovation when the startup sound came on

just for fun:

Quote :
"This famous Mac startup sound (still installed in every new Mac) was recorded Jim Reekes, and first used on the Quadra 700, which launched in 1991 costing $7,000. "

Went my 2nd time on a Sunday afternoon and there was a kid's b-day party. Poor things nearly had heart attacks when Wall-E got crushed in the hypo-thingy at the end.

Dreamworks Animation has had a few pretty awesome movies:

Shrek
Shrek II
Flushed Away

a bunch of fairly decent ones:

Chicken Run
Wallace & Grommit: Curse of the WereRabbit
Antz
Kung Fu Panda
Madagascar
Shark Tale
Shrek the Third

and a couple rather lame ones

Bee Movie
Over the Hedge

so maybe on second thought i'll have to give props to PIXAR for being "Consistently Awesome"

if you think shrek II is worthy of viewing by any human being, there's no hope in arguing about this

Shrek was the best movie ever.

except for Shrek II, which was slightly better.

nothing says "awesome movie" like a script that falls so flat it has to rely on double entendres to entertain anyone over the age of six
