Is it a prerequisite to be miserable to bitch, or can you just do it for fun?

How is that a vague answer? I'm also pretty sure that it's not a double negative as well. If it is, then I blame the 2 hours of sleep that I've had and the two hour drive to my first day of work in 2 months. T-dubbers are so heartless and mean.

God, at least it's downtown art that actually looks good. Asheville has some big jagged metal abstract thing that I'm sure cost a ton to build, and it looks pretty bad.

i wants to go see it
even though i think it will be a distraction for drivers, its still a damned cool idea

"Why a Shimmer Wall?

While a festive plaza will welcome visitors at the convention center's main doors, there is no entrance to the Raleigh Convention Center from the western side, along McDowell Street. The wall houses the 500,000-square-foot facility's chillers and boilers that require significant air flow. Yet the wall facing McDowell Street is the most visible as motorists enter downtown Raleigh from the south. Some 20,000 vehicles arrive downtown via the thoroughfare each day. Even those not destined for the center city are offered downtown's most inviting vista as they motor east and west along Western Boulevard."

Thank you. Time+Light was a total scam. This is actually really neat looking and didn't cost the taxpayers a dime.
