thanks for the sarcasm

just because i am responsible with money is no reason to hate

if i really wanted to make you feel like shit i would have posted balances

^ this is an interesting statement. i think most people are driven by money. sure i like money and having it makes certain parts of life a lot easier. however, all i did was read a few books and ask a few questions and suddenly i'm handling the money i have successfully and setting myself up for the long term. i'm not a superficial person and dislike those who are.

after being out of work on disability for a month, , paying some medical expenses, then being laid off, and then moving back to Raleigh while job hunting my bank account is HURTING. After this month's bills there's gonna be a problem.

Good thing I've got an offer or two this month to think about But until those checks start rolling in again, shit is tight

this means you are well paid/funded etc.

this means you are proud of it, and like to make others feel inferior.

and the premise of the thread further leads to the fact that it is a major motivating force in your life. of course all this is heresay because it is your life, and i don't know you from jack, but thats my bit. no offense intended.

what else is there? without money you can't do shit--you can't eat, you can't go anywhere, hell you can't even sleep comfortable. so, yes, if by wanting a decent life that means money is a motivating factor then yes, yes it is

property taxes tend to be higher in TX bc there is no income tax

i'm not sure exactly what i pay but it'll be less next year bc of the homestead exemption thingy but since i didnt own my home on jan 1, 2008 i can't apply for it until 2009 and its automatic after that. i think i remember it saving $2k a year or something like that

i'm terribly sorry you failed to detect the sarcasm in this statement. i pledge to try harder in the future to make my smart ass comments easier to spot.

and i did not start this thread so your comment about that furthering your case against me doesn't really work
