Used mattress is not that bad, just get a waterproof allergen cover. Sadly I had to buy one (have sleep issues, wanted to make sure the bed was not the problem) but I got a really great price on a mix and match set.

I do need a desk, probably going to go to university surplus and see what I can get. Last one was too big.
