Who exactly is threatening your family's safety? Would it have to be someone holding a gun/bomb to you to be considered a "threat"? OR could it be someone simply wishing to place harm on the west, no matter who it was?

Seriously, I've been corrected several times that my anger should be directed to the Department of Defense and at best, the one fucker who decided to renege on Campbell's Alternative Service Option. I thought the mods could change the title, but four posts into the thread I found out that they could not. I don't hate the entire military, just the people responsible for its inefficiency and its inability to make and keep sound policies.

I apologize for sounding like a complete and total douche. You may now proceed to flame me from behind a computer screen.

you should also be pissed at the nativity of Campbell. There is a war on, and for him to realistically think they'd let him play football instead of serving is a bit, well, fucking stupid. In every contract I've ever seen regarding the military and personnel, there has always been the clause "or needs of the service". They do not play about that, if you're needed, or even if they think you're needed, they're gonna get you if you've taken that oath and signed the paper.

Personally, I think if really wanted to play ball instead of join the military, he should've made some different choices.
