Pfff if you can't laugh at people making fun of you on skit comedy shows then you really need to lighten up.

I mean, Janet Reno of all people was totally cool with Will Ferrell portraying her a few years ago. She even had a cameo on one of the skits where he was doing it.

from what I've heard there are about 2 minutes of Max Payne style narration in the beginning that makes you think its gonna be cool, but then it turns into a boring shitfest.

Just read the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. PG-13, only 85 minutes long, and what little plot there is is full of holes. Without seeing it, I can tell that this movie sucks more than a Thai hooker.

The problem with videogame adaptations is that directors spend too much effort making it look and feel like the videogame, instead of adapting the storyline. Hell, even the Doom movie had a sequence where the action takes place in first-person. Too much time is spent on making a lot of polished eye candy that will appeal to the middle school kids (which is also the problem with a lot of other movies these days, but that's a whole 'nother can of worms), with a small number of references thrown in to try to appease the videogame's fans.

man i was real disappointed to here this movie was this bad. I had a lot of hope for it and usually enjoy anything with Mark Wahlberg in it. But i dont think i'll be checking this out in theatres.


Hopefully the new Punisher movie doesn't disappoint.
