It was nice back in the day when you would actually just get highlights from all the previous days sports and stats etc. "Did you know?" Was about as "flashy" of an extra segment as they had.

Now it is not even worth watching. They focus on 1 or 2 sporting events from that day and ignor everything else. Most of the stuff isn't even sport specifically related, it is about all this crap that went on off the field. They have to many stupid segments that they use just to get random people on tv.

I miss the hour long, start with the most important highlights, throw in an interview or two, run down the rest of the highlights from the day, show the top 10 "Plays, of, the, week" finish with a Did you know, and I had my sports covered for the day. I use to know every player in every league and all their stats. Now all I know is Brett Favre is Brett Favre, the entire off the field life of Tony Romo and Pacman, and Yanks/sox.
