efrain's right arm is gonna hurt like a motherfucker for weeks. he took at least two dozen elbows to his shoulder when nover had his arm trapped

he's got it 2-1, no doubt.

that was a damn good fight, though.

man, efrain was a monster out there. i was shocked that he came to fight with that kind moxie.

Vinnie let me down. he should have taken Bader. Bader did look good though so props to him.

there was some damn good fights and finishes. they had two pretty good cards for both free shows.

that one head kick knockout was freaking sick

Really glad to see Anthony Johnson get that sick revenge KO.
That eye poke of doom was one of the worst stoppages this year.

Season 9 started two weeks ago. I like the new US vs UK patriotic format, the coaches are cool, and there are some damn good fighters this go round.

Perhaps there will be fewer shananagans this season now that junie browning jr. got his ass handed to him.

My money is on the ginger for lightweight and demarques johnson for welterweight

you haven't missed anything except the preliminary fights to get on the show so far. They haven't started the real fights yet.

anyone see ufc 97 on saturday??

Good card except Silva toying around with Leites for 5 rounds. Fucking Silva would not finish the guy for some reason. I know he is a counter fighter, but c'mon, that was pathetic.

^^i, too, hated rob browning. you could tell he thought he was the man and it was great to watch him curl up in the fetal position and get pounded. i was disappointed they didn't get any post match comments from him though...it would have been humorous to get his thoughts on the beat down.

yeah, was a great fight. Kind of a curious match making decision by henderson. Two rather clumsy strikers with little ground skills and you have the guy with a 5 inch reach deficit and you match them up on purpose?

Looks like a similar situation as last season as far as the coaches go. Last year, Nog was away from home and so he spent alot of time with his guys bonding and making the team cohesive whereas Mir treated the competition like a job and it showed with his team cohesiveness. Seems like the same thing is happening with the UK and US teams.

to me Henderson comes off as kind of dumb. i do see his point that the UK guys had about 13 days to rest and make weight where as Henderson had several guys that were fighting just 3-5 days before the first real match so im sure it was kind of a 50/50 shot with his pick due to circumstance

man, that one guy on henderson's team is such a sloppy pussy
"my leg is sore i cant fight" ... dude has an infection in his leg and was just using it as an excuse

wonder who will fight in his place

havent seen this week's episode yet, but yeah, it annoys me that they keep letting guys on the show that don't want to be there and don't want to fight.

Dan Henderson does seem kind of clueless. He doesn't really get down and dirty with his fighters, he just sits back and watches. Every now and then he'll give some advice, but that's about it. Bisping looks like he's really actually trying to coach and wants to make his guys better fighters.

nah trust dan henderson is coachin his ass off, hes just not a loud personality ever

i thought it odd theyd pick him for the show obviously, but they didnt actually pick him he beat rich to earnt he coachign job, hes kind of a flat persona in terms of adding viewers

bisping is more of what they wanted on the show, loudmouth brash dude that is visibly passionate

dan is gonna whip his ass though dan doesnt fight like a stick in the mud

im talkin whip bispings ass

TUF hasnt been good since season 5, i watch but i dont have the faith that we will get the same committed and/or solid fighters like out of season 1, 2, and 5 (by far the best seasons with the most talent top to bottom)

Kimbo Slice on TUF next season. I'll watch just for that.

^i thought that was a rumor, kimbo is goin into boxing because he couldnt negotiate good terms on a strikeforce contract (i thought)

bigger news

RASHAD AND RAMPAGE ARE COACHES for tuf 10

o my god im lovin it, i dont even care wether they fight or not, its gonna be a good season

i havent heard anything official regarding whether they are actualy gonna fight or if rampage is going to go ahead and get the shot v.s. lyoto (i heard he turned it down because he really wants to fight and shogun will fight lyoto BUT i have also heard that rashad was fighting shogun and rampage would still fight machida at the end of TUF 10 on the same ppv)

this is so great, either scenario will be bad ass

yeah, i read that too... rampage was the only bright spot on the last season for me and teaming him up against rashad should be awesome.

i read on mmajunkie that shogun is fighting machida and rampage wanted a rematch against rashad before he fought machida

i dont think rampage is the kind of dude that houses antipathy towards anyone unless they disrespect him directly..if anything rampage might rub kimbo the wrong way with his goofy humor (which is very hit or miss, borderline annoying IMO)

same as rashad, but rashad is a quiet cat anyway...so i dont think therell be any of that kind of drama

i hope not, i just want to see good fights and a tiny bit of verbal back and forth between the coaches...hopefully we can get some good prospect HW in the UFC that arent going to just immediately drop down to LHW...im sick of seein the same heavyweights on every card fighting cans because all the good HW have already fought eachother

^that and the fact that dana can't/won't sign the what little top HW talent there is.

I doubt there is gonna be any drama between rampage and kimbo.

The drama will be between Dana and Kimbo. They've already had harsh words in the past.

Personally, Kimbo has no place on TUF. I mean, a transexual ended his EliteXC career. The truth of the matter is, Dana is a smart business man. Dana will probably use Kimbo for ratings. Mark my words, Kimbo will not fight in the early rounds. If he does, it will be a weak opponent. They need him on the show as long as they can keep him.

"Though White goes to great lengths to insist that nothing on the show is scripted, it's virtually guaranteed that Slice won't fight early in the competition. Having him around and alive in the competition is going to keep ratings elevated.

If Slice is able to advance to the live Dec. 5 finale, with a chance to earn a UFC contract with a win, ratings would likely be the largest in Spike history.

theres no real drama between kimbo and dana

yea dana said what he said but hes says the exact same shit about every fighter not under a ufc contract whether they have fough for the org or not

im sure dana will vocalize his doubts that kimbo is any good, but he did the same when rashad was on TUF

i agree he aint fightin early, but even though im sure the eliminated guys arent leaving the house anyway

Can someone in the know plz send me a link to UFC 100 video. I already know the results, but I still want to watch the fights.

None of the usual people I watch the fights with was around last weekend. Wanted to watch the fight at Tobacco Road, but Gelwood South was a clusterfuck and I couldn't find anywhere to park. Hooters was also a clusterfuck with no parking and people standing outside (I'm guessing they weren't letting anyone else in?) Next time I'm just going to order the fight on pay-per-view.
