well it was ruckus,Sammy's or champions. and Sammy's has girls that have fake boobs as servers and champions is to fuckin smokey. maybe its just cause im older or there was something in my water that night, but rarely have a been disappointed at sammy's

since i came here in 2001, i have never been to ruckus

i used to play pool on monday nights with a tdub crowd at champions

the 5 or 6 times i've been to sammy's, i sincerely enjoyed myself and had no complaints

the food is sub par (even for bar food), the service is slow, the waitresses are usually bitchy, and the manager doesn't give a fuck about the customers. really, given the chance he'll take you money and kick you out at the first opportunity....even if you did nothing wrong

The service has always sucked and the food isn't that great. I do like the new porch they added on. That's about it though.

i guess i do get that vibe but when my pitcher is empty and ive been waiting i usually just flip it over so they get the idea. when i frequent places i try and tip well for faster service and this usually happend there.

I stopped going to Sammy's after the competant waitresses all left and/or got fired because Sammy is a cock-socket who flips out and fires his good staff every once in a while.

Plus, Bada has better wings.

I've seen friends kicked out for no reason

I've had horribly slow service. Never have had fast service at sammys.

I've been served cold food

I've had waitresses sit down and talk with her friends for 20 minutes instead of taking care of our starving table

I've seen the manager not honor HIS OWN gift certificate....just because he didn't want to.

^ theres a great place. i tried it about 2 weeks ago and was not impressed. my meal was $8.XX and they were out of sweet tea, some loud tramp that worked there was just playing WoW and i didnt get much food

Oh maybe you are talking about the non-Bar side...

I just go to The Bar, ever since it opened. I have no clue who works at the restaurant side now other than the guys that also come over to the bar when they get done at work.

And i have never had a problem with not getting enough food to be satisfied for less than $10.

then you must not mind waiting 15-20 minutes for mediocre food. while one employee sits at a back table playing wow on her laptop and talking on her phone loud enough that you can hear here better than the person sitting across from you.

that being said i like the bar side the one night i went, and parebol is a nice guy

The food i have had there has always been great. Wings are normally pretty big and their sauce flavors are all pretty solid. They put forth the money to buy in good onion rings, which you can get a ton of for like, $4. And then there is the Fatty Wrap... that thing is simply glorious.

And this is all coming from someone for whom food is a way of life.

And waiting 15-20 minutes is only a big deal for people who think that they have something better to do.

wtf, you cant be serious? sammy's is horrible, i have had so many bad expieriences form them that i just had to stop going which sucks because they have a great atmosphere for watching games.

sammy is a fucking coked up alcoholic loser who has no problem harassing his staff and being a fucking jerk to his customers. at least half of the waitstaff is completely incompetent, and the food is awful. the only way to get good service there is to go directly to the bar and order from the bartenders, the bartenders are the shit.

numerous times have i sat down at sammys and had to wait at least 15 minutes before even being approached by a waitress, ive also had mystery items put on my bill, as well as having sdrunk ass sammy come over and threaten to call the cops on us if we didn't pay him $60 for items that he couldnt tell us what they were and that we didn't order.

ha maybe we went on a bad night but the wings were average size. and waiting 15-20 minutes wouldnt be a big deal, if it was the kind of place you were suppose to wait for food, esp when they tell you the good is going to be done in about 2-5 minutes. and then they bring out one persons food and not the others. for the quality of there food they are overpriced.

a) you left out the shot part

b) i think pint night at saucer is 2.75 now

c) saucer has alot more beers that aren't allowed (unfortunately alot of the ones I really like) and saucer doesn't give you the special on bottles


and on a side note... I like all the places in MV - bada, ruckus, sammys, champions, etc - does this make me a bad person?
