No clue.
I didn't grow up with rules about the movies I could watch.

i am still surprised at all the people i meet that weren't allowed to watch the simpsons

i dont think i ever had any restriction on what i watched...and i wasn't stupid enough to watch porn where my mom would catch me...i think i would have been more embarassed than fearful for getting in any trouble

my parents believed the news reports that the simpsons were beyond dysfunctional to the point of being antisocial

and then they watched it

and laughed their asses off

so i was allowed after that...though i had been secretly watching all along

mr. bergstrom probably helped sell them, too

I remember, it was Full Metal Jacket. I was probably between 8 and 10. Can't remember why or how I saw it. Pretty sure the next was Terminator 2.

on that list too is the shining because it was supposed to be so scary but my dad wasn't expecting there to be a totally naked girl coming out of the bathtub so it was very awkward

Terminator 2. I remember going nuts at the "special effects".

I saw some of Predator when I was 5 or 8. As for a movie in the theater, it was Boyz in the Hood at 11.

I remember preachers coming to my church saying kids would want to be Bart Simpson. I even had one saying they'd want to be like the Terminator. So glad I don't live there anymore.

I saw way too many horror flicks as a kid to remember, but I remember that Jurassic Park was the first R rated movie I was able to see in theaters.
