I dunno, if you actually watch college football other than nc state games you might have heard about this one team.......(wont tell you which one) that has made a name for themselves by consistantly scoring on defense and special teams. They do it well and have for years. Google "Beamerball" and you might find something on it... who knows

Don't say the number of the teams. Name the teams. And they better not include ohio state, wisconsin or any team that hasn't played a bcs team. I would also reccomend most of the list include teams that have beaten at least 2 ranked opponents.

^^ don't be a fool.... preseason polls mean jack. Just because OSU, UGA, USC haven't played two ranked teams doesn't mean they wouldn't beat the pants off of ECU.

ECU definitely deserves props though, they should probably be ranked about 20th until we see how they handle their success in their next couple games.

ECU HAS NOT FACED A DEFENSE THIS YEAR.

if you think Vtech had a defense go look at their starters and tell me its the same team from last year or the yaer before.

they HAVE NOT faced a defensive team at all, WVU has a TERRIBLE defense and everyone knows that. Vtech is so young in the DB and S positions

Games vs Wake, Fresno, Utah, UCLA would probably be close.

I think ECU deserves to move into the top 25. They have played their toughest two games, so it appears to be downhill for them the rest of the season. We will see how they handle success. Personally I think they'll probably lose one or more of their next 2-3 games.

Should they run the table and go undefeated they'll have a shot at a BCS at large bid, along with BYU & Utah if they keep up their current success as well.

ECU plays a shoddy conference schedule, so you can't argue that they deserve to be in the top 5 because of two wins over ranked opponents. They won't be tested with a comparable conference schedule to any BCS team. Stringing together a solid season in a BCS conference is a lot tougher than pulling out two wins and then eating a bunch of cupcakes.

I'd wager a game against South Florida and BYU for ECU would be close too...

I don't think they should be Top 15, but somewhere around 20 does sound good. If they don't have a slipup then by all means let them play a BCS game...would love to see it...but that doesn't mean they should be Top 15 right now looking at the current rankings.

Florida, Oklahoma, Alabama, LSU, USC, Texas, Auburn, UGA, Missouri, and even Miami in a sense can line up with them and just straight up out talent ECU. Not saying ECU can't get it done, but 9 times out of 10 they won't.

UCLA gets too much pressure on Pinkney and forces him to make mistakes.
Texas Tech outshoots Pinkney and ECU defense through the air.

and we'll just take 3 of their losses this year and put those for the last three.
