lots of people that travel a lot for work prefer condos/town homes for security while gone, not having to worry about maintenance, mowing the grass, raking leaves etc.

I live in a condo high rise in Atlanta, there are several Bentleys, Maseratis, etc in our garage (right next to my Honda )

Well, it is weird if you're anywhere that you have a concern about your neighbors being shitty like this. I suppose there are one or two "townhome" complexes in Raleigh which are basically nice row houses that're glued together where it might make sense for people to have nice cars, but I don't get why people will by a car with an MSRP of 1/4 their house's value. That doesn't make sense, economically speaking.

If he's renting, it makes absolutely no sense (like throwing your money into a goddamn well).
