hahaha, you know, I wish I could live until the day when the hairy details of the Anthropic principle reveal themselves to humans.

In other words, from an entirely scientific standpoint, I propose that there is a good chance that the spawning of the Earth was somehow related to the fact that humans will evolve later.

And once we figure out that secret to our accelerating universe, our entire perspective is going to be completely blown the fuck wide open.

God creating man in "his image" is one of the many many things in the bible that will be ultimately useless lines of text. But even so, if we found a God that looked completely different from us, somehow religion would spin it to say that it does look like us.
