i'm not all that surprised at how chuck reacted. i mean, i'm pretty sure the only thing he heard when he snuck back was "go ahead...lock me up, agent walker," and then BANG.

presumably chuck's smart enough to realize that sarah had to shoot him so that fulcrum wouldn't know about the intersect (and come on, we know she did it for chuck's happiness more than to protect the intersect). i don't blame him for being upset that sarah lied to him about it. but i predict that chuck'll sulk for awhile and then confront her about it, and then they'll make up (or make out...whatever).

but what i don't get is why the fulcrum agent never told anyone else about chuck. i mean, he called someone in to drive chuck to the secret lair WITHOUT saying "oh, it's because this guy's got the intersect stuck in his head"? i bet someone else knows and sarah shooting the fulcrum agent was pointless.

and i hope the fulcrum agent told someone else and they know he's the interesect...that'll make for good future episodes

yeah the Fulcrum agent was the asshole from Mallrats (Mr. Svening I think), he was also in Days of Thunder and Tombstone.

Fulcrum may not know that chuck is the intersect but at the very least they know that the is the person that the NSA and CIA are protecting at the buy MORE so hes still in trouble

No he didn't. He said he wasn't an ordinary agent and all the other Fulcrum agents would do whatever it took to track him down and get him out of jail and THEN he would tell everyone about Chuck being the intersect.

Which I couldn't figure out why he did that, because he was practically begging Sarah to kill him by saying that. But whatever.

I didn't think it was terrible, but i think they could have done more with it

i don't need gimmicks like explosions or things coming at the screen every shot, but it seems like a lot of the show was static shots with someone standing behind another person. you could tell they were on two different planes sure, but not by much. there needed to be more tracking shots and more depth of field (with movement). the subtleness of the kitchen table setting was fantastic. it felt like they had the "3d power" set to 40% when it needed to be at least 90. blur them funny colors a little more. this is probably the only 3d show of the series, let alone any show for around 3-4 years- you might as well get your money's worth

while on topic- looking out of the blue lens was blurry, like there was a smudge on it. i'm sure that's the nature of the setup, but it bothered me the whole time.

definitely not the episode you wanted to start with. If you can, get season 1 through Netflix and start there.

while you may "get" what's going on in the new episodes, I don't think you'll appreciate the characters as much if you don't go back to the beginning.

i thought this week's was pretty good. It had all the hallmarks of a normal Chuck episode - over the top action, zany humor, girls in underwear, bromance, etc. Plus it actually advanced a few plotlines.

I really enjoyed this last episode. I thought the new agent was getting sort of annoying with how he always outdid Chuck. I'm fine with it a few times but every single time anything happened got kinda redundant. But the last 30 seconds made it worth it, I'm glad to see Chuck has been taking things into his own hands and trying to figure out the Intersect on his own.
