you can feel free not to answer these (i am nosy): why are you going to see a substance abuse counselor (i mean what sparked you deciding to go to one)? are you going to stop drinking or just looking to curb drinking?

any vacations planned in the near future?

Silas is great. We're 8 months post transplant now. He still is in protective isolation, but not so biggie as it was before.

My favorite food is ketchup. I have an unholy relationship with ketchup.

I have 2 cats and a Quaker parrot. We also got a puggle the day that we found out that I shouldn't have more children because of the chance that they'll be like Silas. It was an impulse thing, but she's been a real distraction.

I am going to see a substance abuse counselor because I was drinking a fifth every 2 days. I would start drinking when my husband came home to take care of Silas. The straw that broke the camel's back was a night that I went out with people and completely blacked out. I woke up alone and didn't know where I was.

I hope to curb my drinking. To make it a healthy social happy thing. Not an unhealthy coping mechanism.

No vacations.

Life goals. A house full of happy loved children. Seriously.

And my husband is 6'5". What do you think?

Stereotypically, I would say that male love is more physically involved than female love. There are some basic psychological and biochemical differences that make the love experience more visceral for the man than for the woman.

My Valentine's Day was great. I spent the day cooking. My husband came home and ate what I cooked. He played WoW. I took an Ambien and then he came to bed wanting sex, so we had sex while I was all zonked out.
